Its been said that the Delhi govt. has so far issued around 4.75 lakh e-tokens to buy liquor. Under this system, people who have availed the service are alloted time slots to visit the shop and buy the liquor. This way less people at a time can be seen queuing up and norm of social distancing is taken care of as a result.
This system was introduced on Thursday this week wherein the e-token is sent to the registered people on their respective registered mobile number. This step was taken in lieu of seeing the long queues outside the liquor shop. The Delhi Government has allowed around 200 liquor shops to operate in the city. This not only cuts on waiting time for the customers but most importantly maintains social distancing. People after filling the details can apply for e-token on http://www.qtoken.in
