During the event of the stone laying ceremony of the new law university at Uttar Pradesh, the Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju declared openly that there will be new legislation on Mediation.
Law Minister explained that this new legislation brings India the beginning of International Arbitration.
He further said that the Judiciary is independent and we want to take steps to make the judiciary stronger.
Justice needs to be given to every individual and make the delivery of justice in time & made a priority.
CJI also stated that meditation should be a mandatory step in the dispute resolution process in India which was addressed by him at the India-Singapore Mediation Summit.
So in the upcoming winter session of the parliament, the central government determined to inaugurate new legislation on Mediation.
