The Centre will form an expert committee to investigate the Pegasus affair, and refuted all claims in front of the Supreme Court

The Central government has stated in a document filed with the Supreme Court that it will form a Panel of Experts to investigate the Pegasus spying incident.

The statement submitted by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology categorically refutes all of the applicants’ claims before the Supreme Court.

Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology of India, Ashwini Vaishnav, has indeed explained concerns about the Centre’s participation in the Pegasus issue in Parliament, according to the Centre.

Despite the fact that the Centre has not submitted a para-by-para response to the pleas, it has asked that it should not be construed as admitting the accuracy or otherwise of any of pleas’ allegations.
