Passing of KH Kaji, country losses an Eminent Lawyer and a great human being

Eminent lawyer KH Kaji passed away at the age of 95. he was born in Bombay on 26 October,1926. After passing the LLB at Bombay Univeristy in 1945 and after that passes the Advocates examination of Bombay High Court standing first in his class in 1948. Sir started his practice on the original side at the Bombay High court.

Sir then shifted in practice to Gujarat in the year of 1960 upon bifurcation of Bombay State and practiced in the Gujarat High Court and Supreme Court.

Sir served as Acting advocate general of Gujarat in the year 1966-1967. Standing counsel for the income tax department of Gujarat in the year 1971-1977 and sir was also president of Emeritus of the income tax Appellate tribunal bar association. He also served as member of Apang Manav Mandal.

Sir has also authored various books some of them are seizure&survey- Tax planning via wills and family settlements, and many articles on topics such as HUF, Hindu law amendment Act, 2005 and many more.

His life was example of importance of values in life.
