The Consortium of NLU said that the common law admission test (CLAT), 2021 postponed, and the deadline for the registration is also extended.
The CLAT entrance exam for both the postgraduate and undergraduate courses has been postponed until further notice.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 13, but now it’s deadline for registration is now extended till June 15.
The official notification reads as, “The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on May 15, 2021. After reviewing the surge of COVID-19 pandemic in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all stakeholders of CLAT, the Committee resolved that the CLAT-2021 scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021 stands postponed. New date of the Test will be notified in due course,”.
Due to the second wave of the Covid19, many students were asking the consortium to postpone the exam, that’s why the consortium has assured the students that it will keep the students updated of the appropriate steps being taken by them as time and situation demand.
