On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) launched its ‘Online Grievance Management Portal.
It was launched by Union Minister for Communication & IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad in the presence of Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment Rattan Lal Kataria and the NCSC Chairman, Vijay Sampla.
The online portal (ncsc.negd.in) would make it easier for people who faced atrocities to file their complaints.
The complainant would be allowed to submit audios and videos as evidence for the atrocities they faced. The portal also allows them to track the progress of their complaints.
The Android and iOS apps for the online complaint management portal would be launched in about two weeks.
