Most wanted man arrested for swinging swords at Red Fort on R-day violence

In connection with the violence committed at Red Fort on Republic day, a 30 years old protester was arrested from Pitampura by The Special Cell of Delhi Police. The person is named Maninder Singh and he was labelled as ‘most wanted’ as he was depicted in the video carrying two swords during the violence.

As per the police officials, the protesters used axes, sticks, swords khandas to attack the police personnel and to damage the property of the Red Fort.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Pramod Singh said, ” Singh was using is swords to motivate violent anti-national elements indulging in brutal assault of police personnel on duty at Red Fort on 26 January.Two four feet long swords were also recovered from Singh’s house.

Also, Singh not only works as AC mechanic but also runs a sword training school near his house.
