An environment activist arrested from Karnataka

A, 21-year-old, Disha Ravi climate activist, has been ‘picked up’ from her house in Karnataka’s Bengaluru in Greta Thunberg “toolkit” case.

The student-cum-activist, was picked up from her house in Soladevanahalli area of Bengaluru in connection with the case regarding ‘toolkit’, shared by Greta Thunberg in connection with the farmers’ protest.

Disha Ravi is accused of disseminating the toolkit.Disha Ravi is one of the founders of the “Friday for Future” campaign — a global climate strike movement that started in August 2018 when Greta Thunberg began a school strike for climate.

During the investigation, according to the officers of the special cell, Disha Ravi revealed she edited the toolkit associated with the farmers, and then pushed it ahead.Delhi Police has already registered a case against the creators of the toolkit who are termed as pro khalistanis.

Greta shared that toolkit extending support to farmers, but later on she deleted it.
