The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected the petitions which seeks SC’s intervention to probe the violence committed on R-day by farm law protesters. The Supreme Court further said that the Government is looking into the matter and will do the needful and it didn’t want to interfere therefore.
Advocate Vishal Tiwari siad that the investigation can’t be one sided and therefore the SC should interfere in between the same, but the SC while allowing the parties to withdraw their petitions said that the how could he assume the same as when there is any investigation which takes place then each and every aspect is taken into account.
The Supreme also allowed another advocate Shikha Dixit to withdraw her PIL and approach the Government for the same. While one more petiton filed by advocate M L Sharma was dismissed by as he sought directions to the Centre and media not call the farmers ‘terrrorist’
