Virat kohli receives legal notice from Kerala High Court

Indian Cricket team Captain Virat Kohli has been reportedly served a legal notice by Kerala High Court for promoting online rummy.

Besides Indian Cricketer Kohli, the high court has handed notices to actors Thammanna and Aju Vargheese after victims of the online game alleged that brand ambassadors have played an instrumental role in making sure youngsters remained hooked on the game. The bench consisted of Chief Justice S Manikumar and Justice Anil K Narendran. The petition was filed by Pauly Vadakkan.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Kohli has received a notice from the high court. Earlier, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly were handed notices from the Madras High Court for promoting fantasy league apps.
