In a raid being conducted by the CBI itself at the residence of four of it’s officers, it was found that they all allegedly took bribe over Rs 50 lakhs from two firms which are under investigation in relation to the bank fraud.
The officials leaked the crucial information relating to the case investigation to the office bearers of the two firms.The officials namely, Dy SPs R.K. Sangwan and R.K. Rishi, inspector Kapil Dhankad and steno Sameer Kumar Singh, are booked under the various provision of the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Besides the CBI officials, the directors of these firms are also booked by the CBI in the various relevant provisions of the law. And two lawyers are also being booked by the CBI for allegedly bribing the officials.
All this came into broad day light when, on Thursday, the CBI raided it’s headquarters and 14 others places across the country in connection with this case.
