Delhi High Court permitted CBI to file Status Report in NSE Co-location Scam

The scam is related to the market manipulation by the members of the Stock exchange who were penalised by the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

In reference to the the above case, A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court regarding the investigation of the matter.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has got permission from Delhi High Court to file a status report the case of investigation of National Stock Exchange (co-location scam). The CBI needs to file the report within four weeks In a sealed cover.

The court stated that “the purpose of the status report is for the court to look at where the question of sharing the report with the petitioner arise?”

The notice for preparing the Status report is also filed to the CBI in the present petition.

The order was passed by Division Bench of Justice Siddharth Mridul and Anup J Bhambani.
