Honourable President of India, Ram Nath Kovind presented the *Platinum* award for Excellence in Digital Governance to the e-committee of the Apex Court of India. The committee was conferred the award during the online Digital India Award presentation ceremony held on December 30.
E-Courts project visioned and implemented by the e-Committee of Supreme Court of India along with the Department of Justice and National Informatics Centre (NIC) is a Mission Mode Project of the Government of India.
Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Judge of the Supreme Court, is the Chairperson of that e-committee, with former Judge of Bombay High Court, Justice R.C. Chavan as Vice-Chairperson, has spearheaded the fundamental right to access to justice during the Covid-19 pandemic.
