AICC spokesperson Sravan Dasoju on the occasion of 74th birthday of Sonia Gandhi requested Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to include her life in state school syllabus.
He request it as a mark of respect and gratitude.
According to the spokesperson KCR had earlier made an official statement that without Sonia Gandhi Telangana doesn’t exist. He said ” For the great contribution and commitment, it is our prime responsibility to honour Sonia Gandhi for a memorable gift given to all of us.”
The spokesperson also added that Sonia Gandhi made a promise to create a separate state Telangana during 2004 elections and as promised, she also convinced all the other parties for the official formation of Telangana.
