As per the new scheme of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India) started by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, this has transformed India into fastest-growing economies, skill development and job creation have become natural tools to ensure sustainable growth. Other schemes like Skilling India which has been launched successfully aims at providing training and skill development to 500 million youth of our country by 2022 covering each and every place of the country.
Currently in India, there are about 139 million migrants in the country and due to the pandemic and the lockdown, about 400 million workers were left jobless. Hence the importance of skill development is necessary for them in terms of training as well as getting them jobs. Dr Jitendra Das who’s playing a crucial role under this scheme has said that getting away from import – focusing on export and generating employment are the key elements of the Atmanirbhar Bharat. He also laid emphasis on employment generation.
