Technical problems faced by students in NLAT to be raised by query :NLSIU


Statement to record the successful completion of the the National Law Aptitude Test has been given by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru for its law school admissions this year.
During the exams several candidates have faced technical issues, including those relating to verification, login, and facial recognition through their webcams.
Notably, the University has now requested students who may have faced technical difficulties during the conduct of the exam to raise their queries by Sunday noon.

The statement further informs:
• 24,603 registered for UG NLAT of 23,225 candidates who registered had appeared for the exam, therefore recording an attendance rate of 94%. By comparison, CLAT 2019 recorded an attendance rate of 90.92%
• 2,846 candidates appeared for the PG NLAT of the 2,935 registered candidates i.e. there was a 97% attendance rate. The PG CLAT 2019 recorded a 85.23% attendance rate, it is noted
• Attendance was especially strong among the PWD candidates. 99 out of the 100 UG candidates and 23 out of the 24 PG candidates attempted the exam.
• Provisional answer keys have been released on the University website. Objections may be raised by sending an email to nlat2020key@nls.ac.in on or before midnight, September 13.
• The answer key will be released on September 15, Tuesday.
• The release of results for admissions will be subject to the orders of the Supreme Court in the petition moved to challenge the conduct of NLAT.
