The Allahabad High Court bench of Justice Siddhartha Verma and Justice Ajit Kumar has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to come up with a “complete roadmap” in two days, to curtail public agitation and prevent the spread of Covid infection in the state.
The court directed and suggested these:
“We expect stricter time schedules for shops to be there and also every effort should be made to minimize conglomeration of people in public places and in public vehicles.
Here it may be mentioned that even though timings of various commercial activities may be substantially reduced, medical shops and dispensaries might be an exception.”
The case is now listed for hearing on August 31.
