
The Supreme Court has started uploading its judgments in three more regional languages. ( Malyalam, Telugu and Punjabi)
Last year in July the Supreme Court had started to translate its judgments into 9 regional languages. The nine languages are Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Odiya, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
According to Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, artificial intelligence is used in translation of Supreme Court judgements into regional languages.
the translated Supreme court judgments will be uploaded on the Supreme Court’s official website on a separate tab titled ‘Vernacular Judgments.
