BCI has postponed All India Bar exam

Due to this pandemic Bar Council of India has decided to postpone the all India bar examination (AIBE).

Previously the All India bar examination scheduled be held on 16th August, 2020
But due to the “present pandemic situation and frequent lockdown, increasing number of Corona patients daily”, the BCI has resolved to postpone the date of the examination”.

The new examination date and schedules will be decided by the Monitoring Committee for AIBE, which is to be headed by a Hon’ble former Judge of the Supreme Court. The date for receipt of applications from candidates has also been postponed to 31st August, 2020.

All India bar examination (AIBE) is a national level exam conducted to test the potential advocate who desire to practice law.
It’s objective is to examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE will assess skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law.
