Twitter withholds Prashant Bhushan’s Tweet over which SC issued Contempt notice

Two tweets by the Advocate Prashant Bhushan which was posted on june 27 and june 29 over which the Supreme court took cognizance to Issue contempt notice has been withheld by Twitter.
The tweets posted by the Advocate Prashant Bhushan are no longer visible as it is concealed by Twitter on legal demand. The two post are concealed with a message stating “this tweet from @pbhushan1 has been withheld in India in response to legal demand”
India’s twitter counsel was orally Questioned by the bench comprising of Justice Arun Mishra as the presiding judge, why twitter had not taken down the tweet despite the SC initiating contempt proceedings over it. To which the senior Council replied that twitter has bo intention to defend Prashant Bhushan and that the needful will be done in that regard.
While issuing notice to Prashant Bhushan the SC was of the view that the his tweets has brought the administration of justice in disrepute and are capable of undermining the dignity and authority of the institution of the SC in general and the office of the CJI in particular, in the eyes of public at large.
