MAHARASHTRA STUDENTS’ UNION APPROACH BOMBAY HC OVER FINAL-YEAR EXAMS

Maharashtra Students’ Union writes to Bombay HC over stress and anxiety of final-year students regarding their exams. The State government has been asked to decide about the graduate and undergraduate examinations. They have also been directed to release a resolution with respect to the same.

The assurance of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences(MASU) has been sought for the conduct of examinations of final exams of medical students. The email asked for re-conduct of exams for students who is COVID-19 infected and unable to reach the exam centre due to inadequate transport facilities.

“There is no uniformity or consensus among the different universities in Maharashtra and the professional governing bodies such as The All India Council For Technical Education, The Indian Medical Council, The State Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, etc. whether the final-year exam in Maharashtra should be conducted or not. Hence, all kinds of news are floating around, and the veracity of the one over the other cannot be confirmed.” the letter said.
