Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharamn unveils the details of Pm Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan. She explained that livelihood opportunities will come up in 116 districts spread over the six states where the number of migrant workers is much in quantity.
The rural public work scheme will also be launched on June 20, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from the district of khagaria, Bihar.
It has been decided that a total of 25 works of the government of India will be brought in those districts where migrants have gone back. To them under these 25 proposals employment will be given.
She also explained that the total outlay of the project is Rs 50,000 crore, which will be done in 125 days. With this, the government will allocate schemes for the districts and the mandays will be used in creating assets.
